Frequently Asked Questions
Environmental Foam Solutions stabilizes and raises concrete slabs by injecting a polyurethane foam beneath the surface that fills voids and is able to lift and level the concrete.
This helps our clients significantly reduce and often completely eliminate trip hazards and the unsightly appearance of uneven surfaces.
What kind of things can Environmental Foam Solutions repair?
We can fix anything that involves a concrete slab, as long as the damage to the slab is not too severe.
EFS has repaired pool decks, patios, driveways, a/c slabs, garage floors, sidewalks, entryways and more.

In most cases concrete becomes un-level because the foundation it sits on is no longer stable.
When the ground beneath the surface (subgrade) begins to settle, the concrete no longer has a stable foundation to rest on. This causes concrete to crack and become un-level.
Most of the time water is the cause. Poor drainage, broken pipes, misrouted gutters, or weather are all common causes of sinking concrete.
Un-level concrete can cause trip hazards for homeowners and business owners.
Don’t become liable!
- We drill dime size holes through the concrete slab about 3 feet apart.
- Two part polyurethane foam is pumped under pressure through ports inserted into the drill holes. The foam is engineered to expand rapidly to fill all voids and compact the subgrade until it is compressed solid, stabilizing the soil.
- If lift is desired the foam is injected slowly until the lift desired is achieved.
- The foam solidifies within minutes forming a lightweight rock solid support to the slab.
Price is based on multiple factors... square footage, volume of voids, amount of lift, difficulty of access etc.
Each project begins with a free on-site assessment. During the initial inspection, Environmental Foam Solutions provides a firm, upfront price…no gimmicks, no hidden fees, and no surprise costs will be added.
Concrete driveway (600 SF) typically costs $10,000 or more. Sometimes the area is unusable for days. The average cost to repair that same driveway using our method is under $3000.
Replacing an average pool deck is around $20,000 or more. Using our method, an entire pool deck can be compacted, stabilized and lifted where necessary for around $3000-$5,000.
Basically three...
- Ignore the problem, hope it doesn't get much worse and that no one is hurt by tripping over the un-level surfaces.
- Replace it. Tear out the existing concrete and pour new.
- Re-Level It! Contact Environmental Foam Solutions to lift and level your concrete.
- We are Family owned and operated since 2016 with over 20 years of experience in the foundation industry.
- Eliminate the liability caused by sinking concrete. When concrete sinks, it can create trip hazards. The ADA defines that any change in elevation of ¼" or more is a legal trip hazard. Don’t be liable!
- Damaged concrete creates an unsightly appearance and decreases property value. Unfortunately, If a slab becomes too fragmented, it cannot be repaired and must be replaced.
Environmental Foam Solutions will arrive at the agreed upon time. We will set up, drill, pump, and patch the repaired area.
The area will be cleaned and restored to the condition it was before we arrived.
Most projects are completed in one day or less with the area ready to use almost immediately.
Once the underlying cause of the problem is resolved, the stabilized soil will last indefinitely. Our product is only affected by UV light, but since it’s injected below the surface, it remains protected and intact. We also provide a warranty in case any minor settling occurs afterward.
