Protect Your Waterfront Before Erosion Becomes Structural Damage

Seawalls fight water pressure every day. When joints leak or soil washes out behind the wall, voids form under lawns, walkways, pool decks, patios, and driveways near the waterfront.

EFS repairs the support problem behind the wall with foam designed to react with water, fill voids, and stabilize loose soil.

Why Seawalls Lose Backfill

Central and Southwest Florida seawalls are exposed to tides, storms, rain, high water tables, and sandy soils. Once water finds a path through joints, cracks, or drainage issues, it can pull the soil out from behind the wall.

Seawall Foam Injection Process

1

Inspect the seawall, cap, soil loss, joints, drainage, and nearby concrete.

2

Identify where water intrusion or erosion is removing backfill.

3

Inject hydrophobic polyurethane foam into voids and weak soil zones.

4

Foam expands to seal pathways, fill voids, and stabilize the backfill.

5

Review the repaired area and recommend drainage or follow-up steps when needed.

The goal is to stop soil movement and stabilize the area before larger replacement work is needed.
